Hi Everyone,

I want to thank the Patriot Guard Riders, Bryan Welden of the Lafayette Flag Brigade, VFW, and Operation Sam for all coming to Joel's Homecoming and helping make it such a spectacular and awesome memory that we will never forget!

I would especially like to thank the three Patriot Guard Riders: Spike, Richard, and Doug, for staying out until Saturday morning with us while we waited for Joel's plane to land! We greatly appreciate your patience! Spike, Richard, and Doug you are incredible men! Thank you for coming out on Saturday afternoon again.

Now, I want to thank the Pleasanton Military Families, Heroes at Home and all our family and friends for coming out to celebrate this wonderful memory of our lives. You all did great as keeping it a surprise from Joel. He was very shocked from it all!
